Silicon Beach Fest – Advice for Entrepreneurs
One of the things I love about living in Los Angeles is the access to so many creative, inspiring, passionate business-minded people in the LA Start-up Scene. Entrepreneurs were out in full force at last week’s Silicon Beach Fest, in Santa Monica, California. Presented by Digital LA, this is the second annual Santa Monica event … plus, they had a Hollywood mini-version last fall.
Below are excellent tweeted advice from #sbf 2013 … pay close to the first and last tweets. They are my favorites.

Advice from Jane Lynch
At the Writers Guild Awards in Los Angeles, February 17, 2013, I asked actress Jane Lynch, Glee, what advice she had for people pursuing their goals, striving towards their dreams.
Setting Goals
Goals are an essential component of productivity. It’s important to know what you are striving for if you want to achieve it. Goal-setting is not just an activity for the beginning of the year; it’s a year-round necessity. Goals should to be looked at daily, and revised and restated weekly, monthly‚ whatever it takes to get them done.
